This particular variant of Submariner 5508 is called “SCOC”, this is because it has the words “Superlative Cronometer Officially Certified” on the dial under the word Submariner.
This indicates that the cal 1560 beats inside and not the cal 1530.
In addition, it has the exclamation point below the index at 6 o’clock, typical of models from 1962-1963, which indicates that phosphorus was no longer used as a luminous material. This rare and beautiful watch is one of the few available models on the market at this time to further confirm its extreme rarity.
